Game News Mismatches Team Personnel Betting

What the news says about this game

Illinois fired defensive coordinator Bobby Hauck on Sept. 27, just days before this game—a significant disruption to their defense mid-season after a 4-game stretch. Purdue (1-3) is reeling after a 49-10 blowout loss to Notre Dame with one of the nation's worst defenses. Illinois (2-2) lost 42-19 to Ohio State and now faces this Big Ten matchup without their DC, while Purdue brings its struggling offense and porous defense into a matchup between two struggling teams.
