Army arrives at Louisiana Tech with momentum from a 21-17 upset win over Temple on Sept. 25, featuring a dominant rushing attack: 569 yards against Bryant and Cale Hellums alone rushing for 104 yards with 3 TDs against Temple. Louisiana Tech (1-2) is reeling after consecutive losses to No. 8 LSU (45-14 on Sept. 13) and Baylor (36-19 on Sept. 20), showing defensive vulnerability against both elite and mid-tier opponents. Army's ground game should find opportunities against a Louisiana Tech defense that surrendered 45 to LSU and 36 to Baylor. No material injury news was reported for either team heading into this Week 5 matchup.
